The Knights of Columbus

Welcome to the home of the Tehachapi Knights of Columbus, Council 7821.  Located in the scenic mountains of Tehachapi, California, Council 7821 serves the parish community of St. Malachy Catholic Church.  Our small, friendly community provides us an opportunity to draw upon our multi-faceted faith, ethnic and social heritage.

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization, with more than 1.76 million members serving in over 13,400 Councils throughout North America, Central America, the Caribbean, Asia and Europe. Support for the Catholic Church in faith, community, family, youth and fellowship are the hallmarks of Knights of Columbus activities at all levels of the Order.

Every year, the Knights average over 5 million visits to the sick and bereaved, give over 300,000 donations of blood, contribute over 50 million volunteer hours of community service and offer over 5 million hours of labor for sick and disabled members. Over the past decade, the Knights have donated more than $1.28 billion to numerous charitable causes and volunteered over 612 million man-hours of service.
